Senior Developer – Overview

As a Senior Programming Designer you will be responsible for improving and maintaining core applications while working within a team of engineers. Your role will include configuration, creation, recording, testing, and investigation of both new and existing applications, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in the full development life cycle including requirement analysis and planning.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on development projects.
  • Compose detailed documentation based on design specifications and business requirements.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and maintain application functionality.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
  • Debug code to identify causes of errors and refactor applications as needed.
  • Participate in design meetings and analyze client requirements to establish project specifications.
  • Collaborate with end users to model, refine, test, and troubleshoot projects.
  • Remain current with emerging trends and industry best practices.
  • Perform high‑complexity and critical work autonomously, exercising full judgment.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Four‑year degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Design, Electrical Design, Data‑Base Frameworks, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with design, development, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of new and existing application frameworks for new or enterprise‑level products.
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET development languages and tools including C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFS, and GitHub.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL solutions, and configuration examples.
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC framework design and application development.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Value)

  • Experience in the airline industry.
  • Proficiency with AWS services.
