Medical Director, US Medical Affairs – Rare Cardiac

Job Description:

  • Provide scientific and medical expertise in Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM)
  • Develop and execute U.S. medical strategies for tafamidis
  • Collaborate with Field Medical and cross-functional colleagues
  • Support U.S. medical congress activities in alignment with plans
  • Mentor Field Medical Directors and assist with KOL relationships

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical/pharmacy specialty (Ph.D., Pharm.D) or Master’s degree with 7+ years or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience
  • National ATTR-CM KOL engagement experience required
  • U.S. tafamidis / rare cardiac medical experience required
  • Customer-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix teams
  • Proven strategic thinking with resourcefulness and flexibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
